About

Who am I?

I am 34 year old freelance website designer from Whitley Bay, with proficiency in: website design, website development, user interface design, data management, XHTML and CSS as well as other programming skills. I have several years experience in ICT as a web designer, software developer and a teacher in schools and colleges.

Qualifications

• 2005 PGCE secondary education in ICT at Sunderland University
• 2003 BSc Computing for Business (1st class award) at Northumbria University
• 1995 HND Building Services Engineering at Northumbria University

Philosophy

The Internet is forever expanding leading the world into an information revolution. My role as a website designer allows me to give businesses access to this resource enabling them to stay ahead of their competitors. With a clear focus on accessibility and usability my websites allow more customers and search engines access the information they need quickly and easily.

Design skills

• Clear understanding of the design process

Interests

I am clearly interested in my job and designing websites outside of work my main interest is surfing, here is a photo of me at my local surf break.
